Trailer fire with exposure

At 12:46am on July 1, 2005 77-9 was returning from the station and saw smoke in the area, upon investigating he found a working trailer fire with exposure at the warehouse complex at 900 Calcon Hook Rd. Companies 76, 77, 75, 09, Medic 06 & Medic 105 were dispatched. 76-9 arrived on location added Tower 05 and 04 for RIT. 09 advised that the fire had advanced into the building. With multiple lines the companies attacked the building fire while exterior crews advanced multiple lines to attack the trailer fire. The interior crew pushed the fire back while the exterior crew worked on getting control of the fire in the trailer. Tower 05 checked the roof for extension. As fireboard advised 76-9 of the 20-minute mark, the fire was placed under control. Crews were in service for approximately 3 hours by the time about 1400' of 5\ and about 700' of 3 1/2\" and all the hand lines were repacked and all the equipment back in service. Car 99 was requested to the location.
